These software engineers are investing in the future of Southwest through their work supporting the Business Travel Portal and Salesforce. This team works closely with the Southwest Business team and executives to support the planning and implementation of Southwest's business support program, Southwest Business's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, and translate business needs into technical requirements for going to 'front and new developments. in this space. Other details:
This job is offered as a remote work position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Apart from these mandatory visits, most of your work time may be spent away from our office premises. Please note that although this is a remote area, there are small states or regions that are not eligible for employees to perform their regular duties. The states that are not eligible are: Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Summary of duties
Design, program code, test, document, and implement high-performance, technologically efficient systems, based on customer requirements, organizational processes, and standards. Respond to production issues and implement resolution efforts immediately across all technical areas.
Work
Apply the knowledge and skills of software development and testing effectively to solve many problems
Collaborate with other engineers to optimize technology and always apply best practices
Work closely with customers and functional departments to discuss status and plans
Document every aspect of the system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
Determine and analyze user needs, then develop software to meet those requirements
Identify and solve problems that arise during planning, analysis and design using problem-solving skills
Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software
Prepare and implement solutions by identifying and developing process definitions, policies and programs
Mentor junior team
Improve and expand technical skills by continuing their training through reading, workshops, conferences and/or communities of practice.
May perform other duties as assigned by senior staff
