This project is part of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Strategic Sourcing (DPEP) which supports the interior design and build industry. The market leader is Facility Asset Management (FAM), a large project management company. A procurement professional will execute purchasing decisions within a selection of service providers to maximize profits from multi-million dollar annual expenditures and minimize risks through effective negotiation and negotiation processes. This includes support for supplier relationship management, contract approval, tender management and/or pleasure management, contract negotiation, supplier management, ensuring compliance, and -improving the process of organizing and making the partners to collaborate to get money; while maintaining the highest level of ethical and professional conduct. This position will include multiple management positions and contributors, but not limited to, within the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
Functions:
Provide and award professional design (or consulting) and construction contracts for the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts project management team. Develop an effective strategy by leading the procurement process that meets internal customer requirements
Vendors before reaching for consideration: financial analysis, performance, capacity, certification, etc.
Coordinate with all stakeholders for key decisions related to full contact and/or acquisition plans for portfolios, project/contract grants and/or other critical issues arising from open management. Use of industry knowledge in one and/or more categories (of design and/or field implementation), including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architecture, security systems, paint and/or is land.
Understand, analyze, evaluate and communicate marketing company trends and situations that affect internal stakeholders and vendors and/or pricing. Create a long-term investment plan that will fit this pattern.
Trainers/trainees or actors new to the purchasing process/process. Understand and contribute to the development and implementation of supplier relationship management programs that focus on safety, quality, service responsiveness, cost effectiveness and innovation.
Ability to effectively lead unique projects from start to finish for special needs, well-defined business within a fiscal year that aligns with strategic department goals and with annual business plan execution. Key features:
The qualified candidate will have three to seven years of experience working in a professional procurement, contract management and/or department management role and/or have relevant work experience in the construction industry: project and / or plans.
Knowledge of different types of contracts (Collection, Manufacturing, Group - Tariff, Do not promise - Max; etc.) and their proper use. Experience in supporting the tender process, from RFI to contract submission and all support related to contract management to closing.
Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate potential risk exposures during the bidding process: creation of price lists, development of acquisition plans (including scope/time, etc.) through post-review negotiations and contract/bid recommendations book. Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT for presentations, etc.) to analyze data, prepare and execute contracts and/or provide summary reports as needed.
Communication is always clear, concise and relevant to the audience. Ability to communicate effectively with various leaders and be able to assist/assist in training and coordinating customer processes and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationships with team members (peers), clients/stakeholders and third party vendors. Effectively manage all types of meetings with various internal and external participation (sales, project meetings, bid negotiations, source plan discussions).
Experience running a vendor and vendor relationship management program is essential. Ability to build a compelling business case
