Full Job Description:
Responsible for organizing payroll, investigating and settling claims for approximately 50,000 employees in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Performs duties that require an understanding of company billing policies and procedures and a high level of customer service. This role will be based in Buffalo, New York.

Work
· Provides informational support of staff and members on all payroll and benefits
· Provide backup and local support for payroll teams
Answer questions in person in the answer bar and around face to face
Identifies, investigates and resolves technical problems in a timely manner
Provide professional response to ticketing procedures, phone calls, emails and staff inquiries for procedural and billing questions.
Documents, tracks and analyzes issues to ensure quick resolution
Organize, analyze and share large payment reports
Assist with incoming US information for resolution or distribution
Assist with time and attendance records as required
· Support for system access issues, password resets and general inquiries on payment systems
· Conduct research and analysis to assist department head and special projects. Provide BI reporting support
· Support and analysis for KPI and metric reporting · Administrative duties including filing, running reports, quality record keeping and communication.
Assist with special tasks, including but not limited to the completion of official statistics, audit requests, employee census reports, unpaid supplies, and financial support for job cuts.
· Maintain close relationship with HR and HRBP by assisting them with payment requests. · Explain pay policies and procedures to company employees at all levels.
· Create and manage company service relationships. Assist in training new employees and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures

What to bring
Minimum 3 years recent payroll experience in the United States in multiple states required - Canada/Mexico a plus.
Knowledge of Kronos, UKG Pro, HR Systems Specialist preferred Excel experience essential
· Exposure to workload in a multi-tasking work environment required · Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written skills required. · Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, ability to detect inconsistencies in data and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Some experience and research methods are preferred. · Ability to follow the policies and procedures of the company in a global multi-state environment.
