At the distribution center, we keep a variety of Starbucks products from suppliers and customers around the world. This important work takes place in an environment of safety, teamwork, diversity and inclusion, and shared success.
As a distribution specialist, you:
Performs a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory management duties, including loading and unloading trailers, filling merchandise, fulfilling orders, servicing merchandise, and documenting requirements and movements of merchandise. Maintains quality by regularly reviewing work to identify and correct errors.
Hassle-free and efficient driving of various company vehicles to perform various distribution functions. Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to safety requirements as outlined in our safety policy; empowering and training others to do the same.
Understands and adheres to established safety standards, following all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, lockout and tagout). Supports food safety, legal and quality programs.
Maintains product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Monitors and records quality metrics using analytical tools.
Perform other duties as required in support of business objectives and Starbucks information and standards. Maintain regular and timely attendance.
