We are hiring a Sr. Graphic Designer to join our creative team. We are looking for a creative individual that can provide visual design solutions for print and digital media under minimal direction.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a member of the Steelcase creative team, you’ll be a part of a global team that touches every aspect of our business and every brand moment that our employees and customers experience. You’ll find inspiration working with industrial designers, marketing, and creative professionals around the world - as you translate complex ideas and concepts into compelling human-centered designs and experiences and execution.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
- +5 Years Professional Design Experience
- Experience in design solutions across multiple mediums (video, print, web, mobile, etc.)
- Strong experience with print production, including proofing and press checking
- Ability to present brand image and strategic graphic intent to outside vendors
- Ability to interact with all levels of people from contractors to executives
- Strong portfolio of sample projects including layout and print projects
- Strong technical skills, including Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to provide appealing design solutions that are cutting edge with current trends, brand statements and a strategic approach to problem solving
- Ability to work in or manage work across multiple mediums (video, print, web, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to create compelling visual solutions
- Ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, at once
- Ability to author, manage and champion corporate brand identity standards
- Experience with the art direction or creation of motion graphics
