Responsibilities:
The primary role of this position is to provide integrity risk assessment engineering support to all Pipeline and PSM facilities owned and operated by EnLink Midstream. This position will support data analytics, report risk metrics and act as subject matter expert for pipeline integrity, process safety and risk-based inspections. Duties will include:
- Perform threat assessment and risk analysis and report on integrity risk assessments of pipelines and PSM facilities using RAGAGEP tools and techniques to support department objectives and stakeholder's requests.
- Identify High Consequence Areas and manage risk assessment models using EnLink’s Risk tools utilizing good engineering judgement, reliability knowledge, and other areas of technical expertise.
- Understand the consequence and overall risk posed by degradation on pipeline and process equipment and be able to perform remaining Strength and Fitness for Service analyses.
- Design, plan, initiate, and monitor inspection programs with both internal and 3rd party NDT/NDE personnel, and interpret and assess information generated during the inspection programs.
- Assess a variety of historical inspection, operational conditions, process, and corrosion control data to adequately assess and give direction on the further inspection and operation of pipeline and process equipment.
- Provide oversight, guidance and support to the Engineering, Operations, Pipeline Integrity and PSM Teams.
- Facilitate and validate consequence analysis such as BLEVE, dispersion modeling.
- Support the oversight and implementation of the Corporate Risk Management Program, OSHA PSM Program, EPA RMP, and DOT IMP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry in two or more of the following areas: Risk Management, Process safety management, Corrosion Engineering, or Pipeline integrity related projects and programs.
- Strong knowledge of PHMSA CFR 192 & CFR195, OSHA PSM, and EPA RMP standards.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and Degradation Mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of dispersion modeling software packages.
- Strong knowledge of facility siting methodologies and approaches.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant API, ASME, CCPS, and NACE standards.
