Position Description Overview

This role is part of the Pricing and Portfolio Management team and will be responsible for owning customer billing, third party AR and AP invoicing, and analytical projects and processes to optimize the portfolio management financial outcomes across our Key Merchant Services and Embedded Banking products. The successful candidate will have the mental agility to seamlessly move between individual analytical activities and collaborative project management. Candidates should be comfortable navigating, partnering, and communicating in a large organization and across many different stakeholders, internally and externally.

The analyst will assist and support Key Merchant Services: Portfolio management, pricing, billing, invoice reconciliation, incentive compensation processes and data analytic needs. Related work will provide analytics support including benchmarking, structures, modeling, and ad-hoc analysis. The analyst will also support the development of processes, tools, reporting and analytical insight to improve cost optimization, pricing, customer billing, invoice reconciliation, incentive compensation, campaigns, etc. Decisions have considerable impact on the bottom line of the business unit. It is expected for the analyst to have frequent contact with internal customers. Performs duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures within Payments and Merchant Services analytics. The analyst will act as project leader for KMS Billing Integrity Team. The Billing Integrity Team determines correct billing for merchants, including acquiring billing and all card-brand passthroughs where applicable. The billing integrity team has India-based contractors. The analyst would be expected to support calls with the India team as early as 7:30 AM ET on some days.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership, project management, and execution of payments to third party partners including reconciliation analysis, submittal of payment on time, and tracking status of invoices across the line of business
• Project manage the billing integrity efforts in KMS and Embedded Banking teams
• Support Portfolio Mgmt. leadership, Product owners, Sales leaders, and Account Managers
• Extract insights and develops complex analysis and tools for the LOB
• Support pricing and revenue management including product pricing, portfolio segmentation and pricing actions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years in business, financial, payments, or other similar analysis
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management and communication skills are a must
• SQL or Access Database advanced/working knowledge are a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer literacy with proficiency in PowerPivot, Tableau, Microsoft Office products and financial spreadsheets
• Previous experience with merchant services, acquiring, interchange or payments a strong plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $95,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
