We conceive, develop, source and supply our own branded food and drink; everything from dry goods, snacks and beverages, to candy, fresh, frozen and dairy products. Develop a world-class sourcing strategy and business partner across program, supplier, and facility to achieve optimal value within the Food & Beverage industry. Develop in-depth knowledge of costing and negotiation skills and an understanding of key manufacturing/quality processes. Optimize efficiency within your supply chain by aligning with best practices and collaborating with partner teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Build strong and influential relationships with product development and design, marketing, planning, responsible sourcing and food safety to develop and win our private label food programs.
Financial Results: Meet cost targets and achieve financial results for the business. Create trading plans and understand various trading levers to optimize value and outcomes across multiple business categories. Understand corporate finances and creatively influence the balance between cost, quality and efficiency to improve sales and profitability and achieve the best value.
Global Planning/Trading Partner: Leverage a solid understanding of the global and national economic landscape, both at the country of manufacture and supplier/factory matrix level. Evaluate supplier and factory capabilities to develop a sourcing strategy that meets Target's strategic opportunities and financial plans. Develop relationships with vendors to deliver high quality food and beverages at a great price to our guests.

About you:
- 4 year degree
- 1- 4 years experience in merchandising, procurement or inventory management, including supplier management/contracting; Favorite food and drink experience
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically and conceptually.

- Responsible for managing a wide range of products in different stages of development.
This position may be considered for a remote or hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A hybrid working arrangement means that the core role of team members will be a mix of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A remote work arrangement means that the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that is not a duty location, does not have a head office desk at headquarters, and is able to commute to headquarters up to 4 times a year.
