Full Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Sam's Club Fraud Detection team. As an employee data scientist, you will be responsible for managing fraud risk in various product areas and being the right partner for products and business teams. You will be responsible for setting goals, creating plans, and working closely with product managers, engineers, and buyers. You will be responsible for discovering new trends and tricks, developing and implementing ML models with advanced data sets and rapidly changing and driving innovations in detection and prevention. tricks and different channels.
What to do:
Use machine learning to develop fraud detection models in areas such as e-commerce and club payment fraud, return abuse, account takeover (ATO), and more.
Collaborate with entrepreneurs and project managers to turn business challenges into data science solutions. Work with ML models and advanced algorithms in large data sets, graph processing, and other areas.
Work with the engineering team to implement prototype pipelines and deploy the project to scale. Quickly respond to system issues with deep root cause analysis
What to bring:

Experience with languages used to manipulate data and learn from large datasets (e.g. Python, SQL, etc.)
Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (PySpark/GCP/BigQuery). Experience in fraud risk solutions is desirable
Experience working on functional products and working with engineering teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the road map.
