Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or relevant relevant experience.
8 years of experience in software development and with data structures/algorithms. 5 years of experience in software product testing and release, and 3 years of experience in software design and architecture.
5 years experience in Linux, embedded developers, embedded systems and tools. Candidate Qualifications:
Master's or PhD in engineering, computer science or related technical field.
8 years of relevant experience in embedded system design, hardware design and board development. 3 years of experience in technical management roles leading project teams and legal technical direction.
3 years of experience in complex and matrix organizations involving cross-functional and/or cross-functional projects.

As a software engineer, you will play an important role for Google's needs with the opportunity to change teams and services as the business grows and develops. You will manage work priorities, deadlines and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software solutions. In this role, you will work with Android device technology. You will provide embedded system software to enable our Android operating system to run seamlessly on next-generation hardware. You will join our team to deliver tools and early development boards to final shipping hardware. You will be responsible for bootloader, installation and stability of the device. We work closely with the Android hardware and platform teams to ensure that the Android operating system runs smoothly on our new hardware. The Google Pixel team is focused on designing and delivering the world's most valuable mobile experiences. This team is working to shape the future of Pixel devices and services with some of the most advanced designs, trends, products and experiences in consumer electronics.
