starpower is seeking a Social Media Strategist to support the team’s social/digital expertise for beverage alcohol clients, including all elements of education, implementation, measurement and analysis.
This person should be able to build multi-platform marketing campaigns, support M&E, paid amplification, nurture tech relationships to develop general platform expertise. The Strategist is responsible for delivering best-in-class strategy, underpinned by industry leading creative output and backed by best-in-class data and analytics. The role will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our commercial output answers client briefs and delivers on business goals. Candidates must have a demonstrable track record across planning, strategy and creative, with experience within the influencer marketing space, and be able to plan and deliver content distribution plans spanning organic and paid.
We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles and New York. While the ideal candidate is in New York or Los Angeles, we will consider remote candidates for this role as well.

What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the team’s social/digital expertise, including education, implementation, measurement and analysis.
- Provide expertise on technological trends and emerging platforms to champion social and digital innovations and continuously further our offerings
- Identify and analyze digital trends and insights, and use that analysis to inform influencer briefs and content
- Develop social influencer strategies and roll out frameworks to educate team on how to build based on business objectives using tools such as CreatorIQ, Julius, etc.
- Provide clients with thoughtful analysis of campaign results and recommendations for optimization and performance improvement opportunities
Who you are:
- Previous agency experience, should possess a 4-5 years of experience in a client serving role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing Social media and influencer strategy with in-depth expertise of all major platforms such as Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, including solid knowledge of analytic tools necessary for campaign set-up and reporting (NetBased/Quid, StatSocial, Brandwatch, etc)
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, integrated environment.
Pay Range: $60,000 - 80,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
