Full Job Description:
Responsible for studying Walgreens operations and operations to lead "one box" (complete store operation from end to end pharmacy). It is his/her responsibility to complete the integrated development path of the Store Manager for the specified period as specified in the learning plan. Under the direction of the Store Manager, oversees the operations (front and pharmacy) of Walgreen's stores.
Supports store operations by shadowing or assisting the store manager in leading the store on educational tours. Training & Personal Development
A comprehensive and comprehensive program that includes all the necessary certifications for the role of Store Manager.
Attend and complete classroom, online and on-the-job training. Accomplishes assigned rotations and learning objectives by spending time in other stores in the area as assigned.
Follows the development plan proposed by the regional manager. Participates in one-on-one discussions with the Store Manager and Regional Manager to continue professional development and demonstrate readiness for permanent work and knowledge of learning topics from the Sales and Marketing Manager .
Seeking to grow through self-monitoring, setting high personal standards, learning about retail, pharmacy and management, seeking best practices. Effectively learns and implements Compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the pharmacy chain. Gain knowledge of all computer systems and technologies and software. Obtains clinical professional registration/licensure as required by state law (and pursues PTCB certification, as required by state).
Customer Experience
Attract customers and patients by greeting them and helping with products and services. Handles customer complaints in a timely manner and responds to inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer best practices. Monitors customer service, provides training, education and develops improvement plans in both the front and the pharmacy. Helping team members find the most impactful decisions for the customer; looking for solutions that exceed customer expectations and build trust. Assists the store manager in monitoring customer service trends, analyzing customer feedback, building company awareness and improving service metrics.
Work
Shadows Store Manager, gain experience, practice and demonstrate skills by overseeing the operations of the store and team, including familiarity with opening/closing/shifting and delegating work to team members. Demonstrated ability to oversee merchandising operations including set-up, manufacture and replacement of shelves and end points, display tables and support spaces, using a wide range of discounts, signs, advertising, promotional materials, timing, etc.
Assists the store manager in protecting store assets by managing and monitoring internal loss prevention programs and systems. Learns to manage and respond to electronic tracking systems and ensure pricing is accurate, using store pricing reports and analytics.
