Support Engineer II

Essential Functions:

This key individual will serve as a Senior Support Engineer for clients of Aegis Premier Technologies. This is a mid-level position that will exercise independent initiative with the authority to act to meet all requirements for the client.

• Diagnose and resolve customer inquiries related to operating the Aegis platform in their environment.
• Ensure all issues are resolved using the proper resources.
• Experience in writing optimized SQL queries and understanding complex Stored procedures.
• Have worked on creating SQL views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Experience in fine tuning the SQL queries.
• Manage communications to clients at all levels to maintain positive relationships.
• Utilize information tools, training and experience to provide high level of client satisfaction.
• Ensure all requests are resolved and/or followed up on a timely and consistent manner.
• Provide status updates for ongoing issues and issues escalated to other departments

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, verbal communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Constructively work together as a team, sharing ideas and resources.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in MSSQL Server or other relational databases is must.
• Understand coding principles and languages used by developers

Education and Work Experience:

• BS in Information Science preferred or equivalent work experience
• 2+ Years of experience in supporting mission critical applications
• 3+ Years of SQL development and script writing experience
• Experience in usage of fundraising software a plus (Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, DonorPro, eTapestry, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
