The Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operations, maintenance, and ensuring the quality of systems hardware and software. Infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, desktop and laptop computers, mobile phones, tablets, Microsoft Windows Active Directory, corporate email systems, end-user productivity software, and mobile applications. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system, as well as an understanding of basic networking concepts. Troubleshooting will sometimes be unscripted and will require solid critical thinking skills.
As part of our team, you will identify problems in the environment, and then communicate and collaborate with other members of the team to correct them. Because this position encompasses a support role, you will routinely communicate with internal customers through in-person contacts and email, and quality written and verbal communication skills will be a day-to-day necessity of the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Set up and maintain accounts.
2. Provide level 1 & 2 non-business critical support.
3. Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support.
4. Provision, configure, and install new desktop and laptop systems.
5. Perform new site installations including hardware and software.
6. Configure and maintain Point of Sale (POS) software and peripherals.
7. Perform store refresh/rewires.
8. Configure, maintain, and support enterprise mobile phones and tablets.
9. Support JDA WFM system.
10. Support back office systems.
11. Document all systems' changes in accordance with corporate policies.
12. Configure and maintain Active Directory accounts for new and current users.
13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
