Apple's Platform Architecture group is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support our current technologies and develop new hardware/software interface technologies for chip development and test. You will work with our world leading silicon engineering teams and support them on next generation chips, which end up in the hands of millions of users worldwide.
Key requirements
- BS with more than 3 years experience
- Background in both software and hardware engineering. Strong C/C++ programming skills are required. Threading/concurrency experience is a plus. Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Lua).
- Excellent skills in SystemVerilog / VHDL and associated tools. Experience in FPGA design.
- Knowledge of industry standard protocols (PCI, AXI, etc.) a plus. Strong both hardware and software debugging skills.
- Experience with internal customer service is a plus.
Description
- Design and develop new technologies to interface software with hardware prototypes.
- Work with the software, design verification, and silicon validation teams to implement and transfer this technology. Support various teams (software, architecture, verification, validation) in using existing technology and developing new ones.
- Work independently and lead deliverables to different teams. Excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills are required.
- Occasional travel to development groups in the US and abroad.

- How much time you will stay in the interview room, do not be out of focus. Your focus should be on the interviewer. Do not miss any single word out of what he would be asking. Because if you do so, you will need to listen to that question again. And trust me guys. This is very bad impact. So try to understand and listen to the question properly at once.
