The ideal candidate should be sharp, diligent, reliable and highly effective with a strong knowledge of tax and have exceptional communication skills. The candidate is energetic, passionate and wants to be in a position where they will have an impact and an opportunity to grow within our company based on results.
- Min 7 years’ experience in accounting and tax.
- MUST have extensive experience preparing Individual, Corporate and Partnership Tax Returns
- Proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Sheets, and multiple Tax software
- Current CPA license required
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- CCH Axcess Tax experience required
- QuickBooks proficiency is required.
Responsibilities Include
- Prepare and review federal and state return filings for Individuals and Business Returns
- Review financial statements and prepare adjusting journal entries as necessary
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service
- Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections
- Assist with Tax Planning for new and existing clients.
- Research and analyze tax positions in connection with the preparation of returns
- Frequent phone calls to the IRS
Salary: commensurate with experience.
