The Live Operations technical manager provides support for Apple's live operations, with a focus on game production. This role will be responsible for working with internal and external teams and developers responsible for the technical work of the production and distribution life.
The right to head
5 years of experience in live event broadcasting and digital media
Experience working in remote production and field work
Good understanding of media technology (video transfer / routing, video servers, audio and video mixers, graphics, cameras, etc.)
Experience with document flow and creating event presentations
Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners
Ability to work under pressure and clearly define operational procedures and identify new procedures to avoid manual errors
Strong attention to detail and ability to diagnose and solve problems
Enjoy working in a fast environment
Good at working with ambiguity

The AMP Video Partner Operations team is looking for a Live Operations Technical Manager to join our team and focus on live sports. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand to ensure the success of the live experience on Apple TV and other Apple TV platforms.
You will be responsible for:
Ownership of live events from pre-production to post-production, problem tracking and creating status reports as required.
Review workflow changes for greater reliability
Work with Engineers to ensure equipment and operations meet media expectations
Contribute to requirements for equipment and live performance equipment
This role requires flexibility to work non-standard hours to accommodate live events in the evenings and weekends
30% domestic travel required
