Basic Job Functions:

 


Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Testing Analyst. The candidate must fully understand and demonstrate success in supporting Nucor’s vision of Growing the Core, Expanding Beyond, and Living our Culture. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working directly with Division personnel and the NBT Team to drive project initiatives as it relates to the NextGen implementation, as well as other NBT initiatives; collaborative Test planning in conjunction with our NBT Division and Partner Teams, performing Testing activities for Oracle EBS and related manufacturing systems, scheduling Test execution, analyzing Test results, and generating Test scripts in preparation for Automation and Performance Testing.

 


This is a fulltime, permanent position with the Testing Team under NBT based in Irving, TX.

 


Travel is required to division locations through the remainder of the project implementation and will be moderate up to 50%.

 


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
  • 3+ years of software and/or system testing experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology systems and/or software
  • 1+ year experience working with Oracle EBS and/or similar ERP experience

 


Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

  • Automation Testing Experience.
  • Experience working effectively with users in remote locations.
  • Experience with business process Implementations and Projects.
  • Experience in one or more of the following functional areas:
  • Commercial, Purchasing, Finance
  • Planning and Scheduling, Production, Quality, Maintenance
  • Shipping or Logistics
