Full Job Description:
The NOC (Network Operation Center) is the command center and control center for the "delivery process" in the Amazon Supply Chain network that supports multiple geographies such as North America, India, and India. EU. It ensures safe and timely delivery of shipments from vendors to Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs) and from Amazon FCs to airports. If there is an exception, the NOC intervenes to solve the problem and informs all parties involved about the process. Along with this problem-solving process, the NOC is responsible for understanding network outages and refactoring processes or proposing process changes to improve performance. This second part includes network monitoring and extensive analysis of network data.
In general, NOCs play an important role in making Amazon's logistics successful and thus have a direct impact on Amazon's ability to serve its customers in a timely manner. Rules of the Trans Ops Agent:
The trans service representative at the NOC facilitates communication between the various parties (trans carriers/houses/warehouses) and resolves any issues that may affect the customer experience and on the business front. The Trans Operations Specialist at NOC works in two verticals - Inbound and Outbound Operations. The inbound service works closely with the supplier/carrier/FC relationship, ensuring that the cargo is picked up on time and delivered to the FC as per the given designation. Trans Ops and Inbound experts handle all issues that may arise during the shipping and delivery lifecycle. Outbound operations work with the FC/Carrier/Carrier Hub relationship, ensuring that the truck leaves the FC to deliver the customer's order as promised. Trans Ops and Outbound experts handle all issues that may arise during the life cycle of cargo leaving the FC and arriving at the customer's destination. A Trans Ops representative provides prompt resolution of current issues by analyzing and querying internal applications and making immediate decisions. A qualified candidate should be able to understand the requirements / be able to analyze data and see trends and be able to capture the customer experience without wasting time. The candidate must have a basic understanding of firearms and be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

A Trans Ops representative must be able to envision strategic plans and be enthusiastic about seeing them through.
Services include, but are not limited to:
Communication with external customers (carriers, retailers/suppliers) and internal customers (store, finance, software support, distribution center)
· Must be able to escalate issues or inconsistencies in information and data to the appropriate owners and parties and follow up on decisions to ensure they are delivered.
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as it may be necessary to create a report explaining the weekly results and deviations from the target, and present these results in a review session.
