Full Job Description:
The Video Computer Vision team is working on exciting technologies for future Apple products. We focus on ML-based solutions around real-time image and video. We have been involved in the FaceID and FaceKit projects in the past and recently with the new iPad LIDAR sensor. We are looking for the right engineer to help us take our efforts to the next level. In this role, you will work with like-minded people on a team development team where you bring your skills and expertise to Apple products. This job is very hands-on and you will work closely with a software/ML team with different skills to develop algorithms.

SLAM - Experience Planning and Scheduling
Traditional knowledge of ML or deep learning domain for the above areas is a plus
An understanding of visual inertial sensor fusion / or general sensor fusion is a plus
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Interest in cutting edge computer/machine learning technologies and product delivery
Ability to communicate research results effectively and efficiently

You will develop 3D computer vision algorithms to deliver immersive, meaningful and impactful AR/VR experiences. We work closely with Apple's top designers to ensure that the products we deliver are more than just art – they affect users on a personal level. In this role, you will perform various tasks: developing basic technical algorithms that support the future user experience; track and support external parties using our algorithms; supports low effort and cross-platform; participate in code reviews; and be a consistent supporter within the team for high results.
