Job Description: Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant Job Summary:
Essential responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the pickup & delivery schedule of HVAC & Plumbing related items
- Responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the warehouse that include but not limited to the following: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, and delivery
- Demonstrates & establishes effective working relationships with co-workers & superiors
- Properly completes all paperwork required for each job or task: includes reviewing packing slips, reviewing turned in job costing sheets, keeping company vehicles clean, & assisting in monthly inventory of equipment and supplies in warehouse
- Maintain high levels of customer service & satisfaction
- Use of forklift and (or) reach truck, licensed preferred
General responsibilities:
- Performs all tasks & duties in an efficient & safe manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible & adaptable in work schedules & work assignments as defined by departmental & organizational needs
- Represents Glasco in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, & respect for others
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift 75 lbs., stand, bend, stoop, sit, reach, lift, & travel to locations as necessary
Qualifications: Education and (or) Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to be flexible in work schedule (may include some weekends)
- HVAC work experience is a plus
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have knowledge of safety rules & requirements
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have clean driving record
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
