What will you do

• The Warehouse Team Leader will assist their supervisor in managing and supervising all warehouse functions and ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
• Manage the Reception Department and ensure that features are used correctly.
• Delegate and assign work to maintain a 100% completion rate.
• Help manage inventory and do all necessary training within the department.
• Ensure proper use and accountability of tools.
• Make sure times and functions are recorded correctly (e.g. time clocks)
• Be responsible for responding to emails and verbal inquiries in a timely manner.
• Keep the product moving and check the cleanliness of the department. This includes the daily compaction of waste.
• Additional responsibilities assigned. 

What you will need

• Operational understanding of the WMS system.
• Leadership and motivation skills and the ability to make decisions with little or no political guidance or common sense.
• This is an entry level position and will involve moving/physically processing product as well as leading a team of warehouse workers
• You must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly without assistance and handling products over 150 pounds without assistance or using lifting equipment.
• Experienced in more than one department. Work areas include: receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping and returning product.
• Experience writing and replying to emails.
• Electrical Equipment Experience: Must be able to operate or be willing to receive training in Powered Industrial Truck Operations (PITO).
• Experience building and maintaining systems, such as trouble tickets.
• More than 2 years of work experience. Must have a great presence.
• Understanding of high jump is a plus.
• Able to read and understand English to ensure your safety and that of those working around you.
