Full Job Description:
The person will be responsible for the management of work-related injuries and illnesses, including workers' compensation, cases involving contractors through temporary agencies and work programs. The Occupational Health Supervisor will support work and daily inspections by managing various processes: taking histories, reviewing ergonomic tests and physical descriptions (PDDs), keeping OSHA records, to help authorize medical treatment, facilitate return. . project planning, investigation and incident analysis, data collection/entry, etc. The Medical Practitioner will play an important role in the management of case work and manage, track and organize documents for medical practitioners, claimants, internal medicine n 'to include supervisors, EHS and HR as well as external parties to assist in the analysis and management of. events. The successful candidate for this position has worked in insurance, human resources, security and risk management with extensive experience in employee relations and management support. What to do
Act as the first point of contact for compensation-related questions, benefits questions, and employment issues
Capture important information about the nature of the injury, including when it happened, how it happened, and where it happened
Collect documents and fill out workers compensation forms in a timely manner to report workers compensation
Act as a liaison and facilitate communication between employees, insurance, EHS, production and HR
Resolve workplace conflicts and escalate them to the appropriate person if necessary
Maintain contractor records, including OSHA 300, 301, and 301A records.
Arrange through a provider network when an employee requests medical treatment for a new injury
Analyze and collect testimonials, collect information and track data from various sources
Answer and respond accurately and in a timely manner to email inquiries from internal auditors and third-party vendors, including claims adjusters, external auditors, and service providers related to subpoena requests. Support the occupational health team as needed, including specialists, managers and supervisors
What to bring
Customer service experience, including dispute resolution
Bachelor's degree from an approved college, preferably in risk management and insurance (diploma issued with industry certification or extensive WC certification experience, ARM or CPCU certification)
Microsoft Office skills include skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
