Full Job Description:
The Operations Manager will help create and maintain a responsive employee experience at Giga Nevada by performing day-to-day management tasks. The position involves all aspects of customer service and requires a good professional attitude. Candidates must demonstrate confidence, initiative and a willingness to learn. Training in HVAC or appliance repair preferred.
What to do
Always provide excellent customer service to all customers, both internal and external
Performs a variety of day-to-day tasks and functions in multiple areas, such as working in offices, warehouses, and cafeterias, as well as supporting inventory management and scheduling events.
Identifying different methods to identify problems and identify possible solutions
Supports preventive maintenance programs for food, restroom, office and workplace equipment, including performing regular field inspections of equipment and systems.
Uses digital project management software and cross-team communication platforms to determine daily project priorities
Always follow proper safety procedures and identify workplace hazards to appropriate personnel
Uses technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills to complete tasks with minimal supervision or direction.
Uses basic tools and equipment on a daily basis such as power tools, pallet jacks, compactors, etc. Assemble basic equipment and office furniture following the manufacturer's instructions
Pick up and drop off portable items to and from docks, warehouses and other designated areas as required for shipping and supply.
Partners with other teams/departments as required or requested
Practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy and goals of the company.
Works well to identify, report and resolve issues in a creative and practical manner
Works from schematics, drawings, layouts, detailed plans and written/verbal instructions
What to bring
Experience in HVAC or appliance repair
Must possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work effectively alone and with others depending on the task at hand
Ability to receive direction and attention to detail and follow through. Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, our internal customers and our suppliers.
