Duties include: sequencing the dump order of truck loads, directing tomato trucks within the plant, managing trailer storage for full and empty trailers, monitoring paste tomato quality, working with weigh masters, state inspectors, Quality Lab personnel, and various other plant staff under the directions of the Field Operations, and all other duties assigned by supervisor. PC literacy is required.
The ability to work over-time and the flexibility to perform shift work is essential.
Candidates must be able to complete the season, which usually runs from early July through mid October, with training starting in June.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, SAP/STO)
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish helpful
- Communication with Plant Management and peers
- Inside/Outside work
- Walking on Uneven and wet walking areas
- Walking around moving trucks/forklifts
- Walking through loud plant
- Must wear personal protective equipment to mitigate hazards i.e. non-skid shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, gloves as needed, hair nets/beard nets to protect food product.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
